the full story behind this track: a couple of years back, while on our periodical search for remixes of popular songs, we stumbled upon the recording of a makina set done in 2010 by David Blanch from Almazora, Spain. in the set, for a little over 1 minute, David amazingly blends directly on vinyl a crazy makina anthem published on Bit Music in 1999 called "Question'99" by Markos 13, Oskar Large, and K-Psula with "Que Dolor", the 1982 all-time hit by the artist, tv personality, feminist icon, and working-class hero Raffaella Carrà. turns out that this vinyl mezcla was originally done in the early 2000s by another great spanish DJ/producer known as Toni Rico and that David kept that practice alive so that this brilliant idea wouldn't be forgotten. we sadly couldn't get through to Toni himself but David approved and welcomed our will to make an expanded digital version of the DJ blend to celebrate even further these two makineros and their unforgettable scene, as well as to express our love for the absolute queen Raffaella who was born exactly on this day 80 years ago. hope you enjoy it❗❗❗
